Our Style

We place total emphasis in our photos on the love between the bride and groom.

Our packages allow you to book and forget.  Meaning our packages are generally all-encompassing.  We provide online password-protected viewing and ordering galleries, rehearsal coverage (in Boone County), rehearsal dinner with our Signature packages, pre-ceremony portraits, your overall  preparation, the ceremony itself, post-ceremony portraits, a private couple's session, your reception, and even free copyright-released CDs.

All you have to do is decide how many hours of photography are desired. Yes, we can provide you with help in deciding how much time is needed.  If in doubt, you can simply book one of our unrestricted hour packages so we don't even watch the clock.

Our Style

I refer to our style as romantic photojournalism.  We place great emphasis on the love between the bride and groom...beginning with your engagement photo all the way through your big day.  Also, the love and emotions running through your families and friends.

We also capture your portraits, decorations, the traditionals and those special moments that make your big day most memorable.  Candids are our specialty.

I often call our packages "book and forget".  Meaning our packages are generally all encompassing and include: your engagement photo (with 4 free 5x7 Ambassador prints), online password-protected viewing and ordering galleries, rehearsal coverage (in Boone County), rehearsal dinner with our Signature packages, pre-ceremony portraits (you and the groom are separate), your prep, the ceremony, grouped post-ceremony portraits, a couple's session, your reception including all the traditionals (through your dollar dance or 30-minutes of general dancing), and even free copyright-released CDs.

All you have to do is decide how many hours of photography are needed and whether you want one of our beautiful wedding albums included in your package.  Yes, we can provide you with help in deciding how much time is needed.  If in doubt, you can simply book one of our unrestricted hour packages so we don't even watch the clock.

Our Albums

Our largest album is a 12"x12" flush mount, fabric-hinged, Italian leather album (in black or white) containing up to 24 sides.  The album is customized to the photos and sizes you want and can even be previewed right over the Internet.  We also carry a black or white leather 10"x10" Legend Album with up to 24 pages, as well as, an Art Leather 5x7 album with up to 32 Ambassador prints.  Choose between gold and silver engraving on all of them.  We can show you "demo's" when you come in.

Our Photographs

Orders placed over the Internet are a high-quality Fuji print on Crystal Archive paper with a fade resistant life of about 65 years with proper care.  Your friends and family can order their photos through your private gallery and they will simply end up in their mailbox.

We also carry Ambassador prints.  One of the very finest prints you will find.  Ambassador prints are on Kodak's Endura (E-surface) Professional paper and resist fading for 100 years with proper care.  A higher quality paper and only $1 more per photo than our Internet pricing.

                                                              Frequently Asked Questions

How do I see you about your portfolio and booking?
Simply call us at 573 445-9216 or send us an e-mail at
Lindell@RamblingCreekImages.com.  Please check your date on our Availability checker first.  We keep it up to date.  We book weddings with a $200 non-refundable deposit, a signed booking agreement, and the balance due 30-days prior to your wedding date.

How far in advance do we need to book?  It's not unusual for couples to book a year in advance.  Particularly if your are getting married in May, June, September or October.

Do you charge extra for travel?  Not if your wedding is in Boone, Cole, Callaway, Cooper, Randolph, Howard or Audrain counties.

Where do you shoot engagement photos?  Generally at either Shelter Gardens or MU...and other locations in Columbia.  I generally shoot about 75-100 photos for you to choose from in a variety of poses.  Yes, you can "just be you" with me shooting a wide variety of candids.  Your engagement photo date and time must be booked in advance.  You can generally see your proofs in an online gallery within a couple of days.

Do you use back-up cameras?  Yes, back-up cameras are essential to wedding photography.  It's not unusual for me to have 3 cameras at a wedding.  I use only Nikon DSLR cameras, flashes and wireless remotes.

Are you "client-friendly"?  You bet!  It's your big day!

Are you licensed?  Yes.  We are licensed with the City of Columbia, Boone County and bonded with the MO Department of Revenue for sales tax purposes.

Do you shoot special photo requests?  Yes.

Do you accept credit cards?  Yes, via PayPal.

Can you provide us with black and white or sepia?  Yes

Are you a member of professional organizations?  Yes, Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and MO Wedding Connections, LLC.

Can we book via mail or the Internet?  Yes, please call for information.

I am a bit unsure about time on our wedding day.  Can you help?  Yes, I can run through your day with you and perhaps share some insights on time and maybe even some things you haven't thought about.

I'm very concerned about being on time for our reception.  Can you help?  Most likely.  I seldom have couples late for their reception.  I develop a shoot plan for your wedding day with that in mind.  Our use of pre-ceremony portraits really helps to keep you on schedule.  I can also provide insights on the things which may likely cause you to run behind schedule after your ceremony.

Is it okay if I bring my parents or friends with me to see you?  Most definitely.

We are a bit unsure about when we should see you in our planning process.  Contrary to what you may think, the photographer is probably the first person to see after you have your date and ceremony location confirmed.

Is it okay for others to take photos too?  Yes.

This is a new page on our site and would like your input. Was it helpful?  Please enter a simple "Yes" or "No" below.  No information is collected about you.  Thank you!
